Summer drinks

I have just returned from an achingly beautiful, once-in-a-lifetime trip to Italy.  It will take me some time to craft the blog I want to write about it - especially given that we're taking Noah to college on Friday and Corey to her new school the following weekend.

So, in the meantime, I wanted to post this in celebration of the last (and best?) month of summer.  One of the wonderful people with whom I spent the magical Italy week, Linda Osterchrist, and I were talking about the quest for perfect summer drink the critical color of an excellent cosmo, and the way a good drink makes a summer night perfect.  I've posted most of these drink recipes within prior posts, but to celebrate August I thought I'd give summer drinks their due.

Cin Cin, Salute, Sláinte, Cheers.
